We know comparison pages can be skeptical reads ...
And we don’t blame you. It’s impossible to distinguish between blatant competitor smearing and honest attempts to inform readers about which option suits their requirements. That’s why we’ve written our comparison series striving to be the most honest on the internet.

Where Databees wins:
Our service is at its best when you’re trying to target a specific customer profile in a niche or sub-industry uncatered for by your normal databases. For example, ZoomInfo would be great if you were hunting for ICP data in Healthcare companies with over 1000 employees, but let’s say you only wanted to target HealthTech SaaS companies; ZoomInfo overlooks the subindustries in their filters.
As you can see from the image, their subcategories are very broad. This is fine if you’ve got a solution with a large Total Addressable Market (TAM) in the Healthcare sector. However, at times, your sales and marketing efforts need to be more laser-focused to be effective.
As an example, we have a customer in the SaaS Health Tech sector whose ICP is Hospitals who have oncology and surgery departments. ZoomInfo simply doesn’t go this granular. So if your ICP falls within a small subsector that ZoomInfo fails to cater for, that’s where the DataBees researchers come to the rescue.
On that note, for some unique niche industries that ZoomInfo does supply the data for, we’ve had customers come to us frustrated with the accuracy of the data. That’s no shade on ZoomInfo; we know fully well that specific industries just aren’t online heavy, so their data is more challenging to find and keep updated.
Summary
DataBees is excellent for finding or enriching unique or contextual data points for a narrow and niche ICP. This is great if you have a niche solution and know your ICP well. If you feel like you fit in this category let’s jump on a call so we can build you a free data sample here.
That said, because of our manual approach this often makes financial sense when you have a high customer LTV and ACV. If you’re a large enterprise with a broad solution you might be better off testing ZoomInfo. If you find the accuracy left wanting (which varies industry by industry) then you could maybe adopt a ZoomInfo + DataBees approach where you grab the lists from ZoomInfo and we verify and enrich them with further datapoints.
